Our Mission
At Friends of Cookeville/Putnam County Animals, we are committed to providing a safe and loving environment for every animal in our care. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for animals in need.
As we continually look at ways to better support our community and the animal shelter, we learned from past events that our pet community thrives when low-cost services are provided that keep pets healthy and at home. We created H.E.A.R.T.S.: Helping Every Animal Receive Treatment and Services. These services of vaccines, nail trims, and microchipping help keep pets healthy, improve pet retention and microchipping can keep many pets out o the animal shelter and on a fast track back to their loving home.
